"Pw."

Pw., a 24-year-old author, poet, and educator, has been writing for 16 years and was recognized by the state of California at 12 years old as a district-wide poetry tournament winner. She co-founded Tuskegee University’s Skegee Speaks and has been featured in numerous articles and journals, including Black Voices of Los Angeles. Her debut collection, Fever Memory (World Stage Press), is available in branches of the Los Angeles Public Library. She collaborated with the Arts Council of Long Beach to create Long Beach Spits Fire, an anthology celebrating the city’s poets.
With over 100 performances nationwide, including WAN in Houston and DPL in Los Angeles, Pw. continues to leave her mark on literary and educational spaces. She is currently writing her third poetry collection.
